Who runs this site
This website is the personal automation portfolio of James Williams. It is used to present project work and provide contact details for internship and employment opportunities in Denmark.
Privacy questions can be sent by email to contact@jamesautomation.dk.
What personal data is processed
- Information a visitor chooses to send by email, such as name, email address, message content, and any contact details included in the message.
- Basic technical information handled by hosting and security providers, such as IP address, browser information, request time, and error/security logs.
- Admin login information for maintaining the portfolio, such as authentication session data for the site owner.
Why the data is used
- To reply to messages sent by email.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- To manage portfolio content through the private admin area.
- To document project work for internship and employment conversations.
Services used by the site
- Website hosting and infrastructure providers.
- Supabase for database, authentication, and project media storage.
- The domain or email provider used for portfolio email.
- LinkedIn if a visitor opens the LinkedIn profile link.
- YouTube only if a visitor opens embedded video media. YouTube embeds are not loaded automatically on page load.
Tracking and forms
The public portfolio does not intentionally use analytics, advertising trackers, or a public contact form. Contact is handled by email link.
How long data is kept
Email messages are kept only for as long as they are useful for the conversation or portfolio contact purpose. Technical logs are kept according to the retention settings of the hosting and security services used to run the site.
Your rights
Depending on the situation, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. To make a privacy request, use the email address above.
